| 스토리 | All hail Madeleine Cookie, Knight Commander of House Madeleine! Madeleine Cookie's cloak fluttered in the air. Pristine and crisp, it seemed it had never been sullied by grime or dust. The esteemed knight was about to face his first true challenge since leaving his beloved republic. No knights were around to gape in awe at his shining armor and regal, commanding presence. He already missed the loyal knights of House Madeleine. They had perfected the art of timing. Whenever Madeleine Cookie entered, they applauded and cheered as if on cue. His quest to retrieve the legendary Soul Jam commenced in perfect order. Great fanfare, waves, and well-wishings from many a Cookie, a heroic send-off. Now, as a stranger in a far off land, not a single Cookie had the courtesy to stop and wave. This predicament required immediate action. Madeleine Cookie needed a symbol or method of announcing his magnanimous presence. Captured in his thoughts, Madeleine Cookie continued his journey. That is, until a peculiar sight unfolded before him: among a flock of cream sheep grazing on the vast grasslands, there was a lone cream sheep surrounded by an aura of pure light. Though, not quite. The cream sheep was not basking in divine light. The curly-haired Angel Cookie had decided to rest among the grazing flock. Regardless, Madeleine Cookie was certain! If he too could harness such an aura, Cookies from far and wide would recognize him. As Knight Commander, such an aura would be quite fitting. “Ho there! I wish to borrow that light of yours, haha! It would benefit you as well, as you’d have the honor to join me, the great Knight Commander, in my quest!” At first, Angel Cookie stared back with a blank expression. Such pride! Such confidence! The gentle, curly-haired Cookie had made a decision. “If that is your wish...” Ever since, Angel Cookie has followed in Madeleine Cookie’s footsteps. A makeshift spotlight of radiant light follow the knight at all times. When he struggled to maintain balance in pools of mud, the light was there. When he slipped into a river due to not watching his step, the light was there. How glorious indeed! At full gallop, Angel Cookie struggled to keep up with Madeleine Cookie’s sugar horse. It took strenuous effort to hang on and not let go of the horse’s tail. But wherever Madeleine Cookie went, Angel Cookie’s aura followed. At last, rumors began to circulate about a knight in shining armor, glowing as radiant as the stars. Cookies from far and wide travelled to catch a glimpse of the shining knight. “I wonder...” Angel Cookie pondered out loud. “Will we ever meet the shining Cookie everyone is talking about...?” Madeleine Cookie shook his head, a palm caressing his forehead. “Have you no clue to whom they are referring,” he thought to himself. Well, it mattered not, as long as his name and reputation continued spreading far and wide. |
