Almond Cookie is back at the  Magic Institute, but what's this? Instead of the usual tattered case files he carries around, he's carrying a beautiful bouquet of flowers! Now, who could these be for? Oh, of course! Today's the graduation ceremony! Young Cookies gather around for pictures with their graduation gowns and hats, while some exchange fond yet exciting goodbyes. There's Cream Puff Cookie, running up to Almond Cookie.
"Congratulations, Cream Puff Cookie."
"Detective! You made it!"
"Well, I couldn't possibly let a bunch of excited rookie wizards cause a ruckus, could I? Magic Emergency Handling, you know... And it was your graduation ceremony as well, so... *Ahem* congratulations. You've done well."
"Hehe... Yessir! Thank you! I couldn't have done this without both of you! I'll make sure I continue to do my best!"
Ah, it seems just like yesterday when she was a wee student, but now she's all grown-up and an official wizard! Just as Almond Cookie was about to offer some words of encouragement, Cream Puff Cookie's friends took her away for pictures. Latte Cookie came to the rescue and help out Almond Cookie from just standing there awkwardly.
"Magical Emergency Handling and all... Pfft! If you could see yourself grinning right now! You're so proud of her!"
"Oh, stop. Give me a break."
"I'm just saying! Maybe you should stop drinking bitter coffee all the time and add some milk for a change? Would certainly add some softness to you!"
"I drink coffee because I need caffeine, not softness... But, yes. Perhaps a cup of latte once in a while will be nice."
The two Cookies then proceeded to talk about all sorts of things, such as 'Why lattes, of all drinks?,' 'Is it still a latte when you sprinkle nuts?,' and of course, the essential question of 'How much milk should be added to a latte?' It was clear to every single passing Cookie that the two looked like good friends, but the said Cookies had no clue and were too absorbed in their talk. They almost didn't know Cream Puff Cookie had returned!
"Sorry, my friends wanted a picture with me... Can we get a picture as well?"
"A picture, you say...? I... Um. Oh, a case calls me. Now, if you'll excuse me.."
"No, you are not excused! Oh, come on! Okay, Cream Puff Cookie, we're ready!"
"Hehe, okay! Say Cookie! Coo-kie!"
Many more pictures were taken throughout the years, but it seems that Almond Cookie is particularly fond of this picture, as he has carefully pinned this happy picture in his case files that he always carried around. |
