Sugar petal rice cakes, to be precise! Some honey, some petals, lots of love. Soon enough, Moon Rabbit Cookie was surrounded by heaps of rice cakes. "Aw these wice cakes! Aw mine! YUM!" Just when Moon Rabbit Cookie was about to pop in a rice cake, Head Icon Kumiho Cookie decided to say hi. "Are those rice cakes, my dear?" "Yup! I may 'em!" "I love rice cakes! I've tried some in the past, but I've never seen anything like those!" "Theya weally gud! Wiw fwaers!" "Can I have one?" Moon Rabbit Cookie was about to refuse—and refuse decisively—but something about Kumiho Cookie's eyes made it particularly hard to say no. "O...okay. Here ya go." "He he, thank you, sweetie! My, my! As the three Cookies continued to munch down the rice cakes happily, another Cookie appeared from the woods. It was Head Icon Affogato Cookie, en route away from the Dark Cacao Kingdom. He looked rather different from his usual self—his neatly combed hair was disheveled, and he wore an exhausted expression instead of his sweet smile. "YOU...!" "Tsk! Woe is me! Thought I would help myself to some sweets, and whom do I find instead? The First Watcher herself!" "Did you think you could run away after what you did to Head Icon His Majesty and the kingdom?! His Majesty will be pleased with my report after I strike you down right here!" "And you'd be a fool to think I would let you have your way! I have NOTHING left to lose!" A fierce fight followed the confrontation. It was the treacherous versus the loyal—there was no way they would settle peacefully. There was a lot of yelling and spells going off, and the place turned into a complete mess, but Moon Rabbit Cookie and Kumiho Cookie couldn't care less. They continued to munch on the rice cakes while watching the two fight. "It's such a beautiful day today! Why can't they just talk it out?" "Wight! Let's just eat the wice cakes!" The sound of weapons clashing, arrows firing, and spells casting had attracted other Cookies to the commotion. Despite all the chaos, Moon Rabbit Cookie continued to snack on her rice cakes. And when she was about to reach out for another one, Affogato Cookie stepped on her precious rice cake, trying to dodge Caramel Arrow Cookie's attack. "Y-you... stepped... on ma wice cake..." "Moon Rabbit Cookie! What's wrong?" "My wice cake... MY WICE CAKE... HOW DARE YOU STEP ON MY WICE CAKE!!!" The next instant, Moon Rabbit Cookie turned into a giant rice cake bunny! Witnesses claimed the bunny was so massive that it covered the entire sky, and its big red eyes filled with rage were more horrifying than Head Icon Dark Enchantress Cookie herself. Naturally, Affogato Cookie and Caramel Arrow Cookie stopped fighting immediately. After all, how could they go on? And so the rice cake party on that fine spring day concluded in peace. (It was later reported that Affogato Cookie had been spotted running off with a bag full of rice cakes.) |
