| 스토리 | Rumors of the famed Avocado Smithy reached both Knight Cookie and Madeleine Cookie. That the two had both heard the same rumor should have served as a warning to those around them...
Avocado Cookie’s smithing skills could not be beaten. Her ingenuity and master of the forge could turn simple ingots into well-balanced and sturdy tools. Madeleine Cookie was eager to greet and pay homage to this heart and down-to-earth jokester. He imagined a grand picture in front of his eyes. How grand it would be to have his Sword of Radiant Light polished with Avocado Cookie’s signature avocado oil?
Riding upon his blessed sugar horse, Madeleine Cookie dashed off into the distance with haste. But Madeleine Cookie was not alone in arriving at the smithy. Knight Cookie, atop his trusted steed, had also made haste to this location. The two paused. The wind silent. The sun glaring.
Knight Cookie had just concluded a battle. He was eager to sharpen his blade in preparation for his next bout. He attempted to hide his jealousy as disdain, especially at the sight of this posh knight’s gleaming armor and sword. His own armor, full of dents and covered in grime, had always served as a symbol of pride and honor and as evidence of his faithful duty to protect Princess Cookie in her... for lack of a better term, outings. Yet this was not one of those moments. The pride and honor for his own armor had withered away within a moment’s glance.
Madeleine Cookie dismounted and made his way to the smithy’s door. What mockery of chivalry was this? Knight Cookie took a deep breath, reminding himself that as a knight, he was a representative of Her Majesty’s name and presence at all times.
Clearing his throat, Knight Cookie spoke first. “Hold there, knight from across the border. I need to go first as Her Majesty, Princess Cookie, waits for my swift return.”
“Apologies! But my needs are more important as my sword needs polishing immediately!” Madeleine Cookie replied with a rather obvious scoff.
Knight Cookie furrowed his brow at such arrogance. Madeleine Cookie took a better look at the approaching stranger and admitted, albeit on the inside, that Knight Cookie seemed to be a warrior of truth and courage. If he were  Charged with protecting a beautiful princess, he too would have made such a claim. But of course, such a princess did not exist, for no princess could outshine his own radiance.
Little did they know that Avocado Cookie had already emerged from her forge to watch the childish bickering from the very beginning. With a hearty laugh and slap of the knee, she proposed the two proceed with a duel. This proposal certainly added more fuel to the fire! The two knights unsheathed their swords and Charged at full-speed. *CLANG! CLINK! CLAAANG!* The piercing shriek of steel clashing with steel echoed throughout the air. Unfortunately, the duel quickly got out of control. As the two thrust and parried, a worktable was practically chopped into firewood.
So who won the duel? Which Cookie’s sword was sharpened and polished first? Well, that’s a different story. Both Knight Cookie and Madeleine Cookie had to endure a lifetime supply of jokes while they waited for Avocado Cookie to fix her worktable throughout the night. |
